Post congress tour: Physiotherapy in Mexico

Jon Baines Tours is offering a post congress tour of Mexico. Take a journey through ancient civilisations, colonial cities and vibrant communities to uncover the spirit and colour of Mexico in the company of your fellow professionals.

The tour visits three of Mexico’s most important cultural centres, including the colonial grandeur of of the capital, where one of the 20th centuries most influential artists, Frida Kahlo, found inspiration.

Trace the story of Mexico through the legacy of its great civilisations. Visit the vast and mysterious pyramid complex of Teotihuacan and the ancient Zapotech capital of Monte Albán. Wander the Talavera decorated streets of colonial Puebla and see the traditional crafts of the Zapotec people in Oaxaca.

The itinerary also includes a range of specialist physiotherapy visits and talks which will provide real insight into the history and practice of physiotherapy in Mexico.

The tour will run 17-25 May 2027, with an optional post tour extension available to Bahías de Huatulco (25-29 May). The tour will be led by Australian physiotherapist Gillian Webb.
